TRIUMPH STREET TRIPLE 765 RS CROWNED MCN OVERALL BIKE OF THE YEAR 2023
Motorcycle News have announced the Street Triple 765 RS as their Overall Bike of the Year for 2023.
Each year Motorcycle News awards a range of bikes in different categories, and an Overall Bike of the Year which tops all competition.
In 2022, Triumph was also awarded Overall Bike of the Year in the form of the Tiger Sport 660. Now, for the second year running, Triumph have retained this title, this time with the Street Triple RS.
The Street Triple 765 RS has also picked up the award for MCN’s Best Sports Naked Bike, beating out all of the competitors in the category from the past year.
With all new technology, chassis, and styling enhancements, the 2023 Street Triple 765 RS adds the highest ever specification Brembo Stylema brakes and sets a new performance benchmark as the most powerful Street Triple ever. A category leading 130PS of thrilling triple power, thanks to Moto2TM race engine derived upgrades, means that the Street Triple 765 RS is both road and track ready, all in the same ride.
Earlier this year, Chief Road Tester for MCN, Michael Neeves, rode the Street Triple 765 RS on track at the launch of the bike and gave it full marks on ride quality & brakes, engine, reliability & build quality and equipment, resulting in a 5/5 for the bike as a whole.
The team at MCN said, “Triumph have managed to take a bike that was already fantastic, and have given it more urgency on the throttle, crisper steering and have raised the limit even more. If you take this on a track day you’ll be pushing very hard to get anywhere near the limit of this bike. It’s still involved, exciting to ride and beautifully equipped and well-made.
